Steven was kidnapped at age seven on December 4th, 1972 by Kenneth Parnell. He enrolled Steven in many schools as his son over the seven years that he held him. On February 14, 1980 Kenneth Parnell kidnapped another boy, five year old Timmy White. Two weeks later, Steven escaped and rescued Timmy. Steven grew up to marry and have two children, but sadly on September 16, 1989, Steven was killed in a motercycle accident at only twenty-four years old. Continuing the sad story, Timmy White - the boy who Steven rescued - also died young. He passed away on April 1st, 2010 of a pulmonary embolism, he was only thirty-five.
